The Cowichan Capitals have signed right-shot defenceman Ludovik Gauvin ('06) for the 2026-27 BCHL season.
The QuΓ©bec City product arrives after leading Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks defencemen in scoring with 26 points (10G, 16A) in 50 games in 2025-26.

The Cowichan Capitals have acquired forward Nate Crema (2006) from the Coquitlam Express in exchange for forwards Avery Johnson (2006) and Brendyn Van Oene (2007).
A product of North Vancouver, Crema recorded 36 points (15 goals, 21 assists) in 54 games with the Express during the 2025-26 season. The 19-year-old has tallied 78 points (36 goals, 42 assists) in 144 BCHL games, all with Coquitlam.
The Cowichan Capitals would like to thank both Avery Johnson and Brendyn Van Oene for their contributions to the organization's success during the 2025-26 season and wish them all the best with the Express.
