The Cowichan Capitals are excited to announce the commitment of 18 year old forward Ameen Ghosheh for the 2023/24 season. Ghosheh is a left shot forward from Aliso Viejo, California and comes from the Anaheim Jr Ducks U18 program. Ghosheh is listed at 5’11” – 185 lbs and has spent the last 6 seasons in the Junior Ducks program. This season with the U18’s, who have played in both the U18 AAA league as well as the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League, Ameen has played 60 games total. In U18 play he leads his team with 35 goals and 74 points in 47 games played, with 9 more goals than the next highest scorer and 12 more points. In T1EHL action he is 3rd in team scoring with 7 goals and 16 points in 13 games. Last season on the U16 team he recorded 64 points in 61 games played.
