DUNCAN, BC –
The Cowichan Capitals are excited to announce the commitment of American-born forward Jack Muhlfeld to the Capitals. Muhlfeld, a 2006 born centre from Whitefish, Montana comes to Cowichan after playing last season in Colorado for the Rampage U16 AAA program. In 52 games at the U16 AAA level Muhlfeld scored 16 goals and finished with 31 points, the second highest total on the team and 3rd most goals. In Tier 1 Elite League action Muhlfeld led the way with 7 goals and 10 points in 16 contests.
Listed at 6”0” – 172lbs, the 16 year old forward brings youth and the opportunity for size down the middle in the present and the future for the Capitals. In 2021/22 Muhlfeld scored 11 goals and 23 points in 45 games with the Wenatchee Wilderness U16 AAA team.
