The Cowichan Capitals are excited to announce the commitment of 17 year old Canadian-born forward Maguire Ratzlaff for the 2021-2022 season. Maguire hails from Abbotsford, B.C. and plays for the Shawnigan Lake School CSSHL U18 Prep Team. Last season with Shawnigan Lake, Maguire tallied 12 goals and 10 assists for 22 points in 17 games.
“Maguire is a hard working 200 ft. player, he has exceptional speed and work ethic. This player has outstanding character, resilience, smarts and he keeps getting better and better. We believe Maguire will be able to further grow his game and contribute to the Capitals relentless style of play. The Capitals would like to welcome Maguire into the Capitals family” said Head Coach and General Manager Brian Passmore.
